Swim
yourself fit at The Green health club |
|
Swimming continues to be one of the world’s greatest
participatory sports, and is an activity that can be learned and enjoyed
at almost any age - there are literally no barriers, not even ill health.
Importantly swimming is also one of the best sports for joints, providing an
effective low-impact exercise which strengthens the muscles that support
the joints, as well as being a good aerobic workout, improving the
effectiveness of the heart, lungs, and blood vessels, resulting in better
endurance, stronger bones, better sleep and generally an improved sense of
well-being.

Swimming
Pool & facilities |
|
Our 18 metre pool uses an electrolysed saline cleaning system rather
than the traditional chlorine dosing used in most pools in the UK.
This means the water is less harsh on your skin and eyes and actually
helps you float more when swimming.
Heated to 29 degrees C the pool is warm, clean and enjoyable.
The single level pool is ideal for aqua aerobics but book early as
places are sought after.

Benefits of The Green Health Club
>
>
Regular
workouts.
Many people have good intentions for exercising, but getting
to it on a routine basis can be challenging. When you join
The Green health club, you may feel more of a commitment to
get busy and keep with it. After all, getting dressed and
heading to The Green is more fun than doing a workout on the
living room floor in front of the television. Arrange your
schedule in advance so you know which days are best for your
workout, and then stick to your plan so you can see results.
